Welcome to 5M!

We are a fantastic class of children with a brilliant attitude to learning. We are always respectful, helpful and kind, and we follow the moral code of Maple Court Academy. With our teacher Mr. Milner, we constantly strive to achieve our best through hard work and resilience.

What are we learning this term?

At the moment we are reading the classic children’s novel: The Demon Headmaster. This is a brilliant book that has been made into a children’s T.V, series. The book has a cult following and even has its own dedicated website. In the story there are three main characters: Dinah, Lloyd and Harvey, who are intent on stopping the Demon Headteacher’s devious plans!

We also have fantastic topics that the children are enjoying this term. In science we are learning about our Solar System.

In history we are learning about the

amazing Ancient Egyptians. We are also learning about rivers, and in particular the River Nile in Egypt. Please can you support us by encouraging your child to log on to Bug Club and TTRS at home.
